My standby options are either “on” or “off”. I do not appear to have “adaptive”. But when I try and search for that, it seems that I should have the adaptive option? What am I missing?? 😛

adaptive is not an option, it’s automatic.
if you have stand by on you will have backlight when it’s dark and no backlight when it’s bright ambient.

          Thanks for the explanation.

The confusing thing is that in the manual and everything else I have found about the watch indicates there are supposed to be three options:
Adaptive: The standby light is adaptive to its surrounding lighting conditions.
Fixed: The standby light is fixed to the brightness setting.
Off: The standby light is off.

          So appreciate the clarification! 🙂

it was most likely not updated by the technical writers 🙈
