I’ll try to delete and set again my walk mode.
Did it work out for you? I still have the issue. Even after I created a new custom sport profile
-
My watch has been stuck in “The device is being restored to a safe state” loop for the past 6 hours after trying to update - has this happened to anyone else?
-
@surfboomerang nope, it didn’t worked for me too.
That’s strange my custom hike is ok, I can unpin ohr, but walk still not even after having recreated it. My climbing custom is also concerned, can’t unpin ohr. -
@Tieutieu is there an Option to downgrade back to the older Firmware!? When yes how to do this?

I don’t know and don’t need it. The new firmware seem quite ok to me !
But maybe it is possible somehow -

WHR FW update
This was a nice surprise and seems to have made a noticeable difference in the daily HR readings I’m seeing (only one day in). Previously, my HR always measured somewhere near 100 bpm every time I looked at it, resting or not, as though 100 were the default while it looked for an actual reading. Today, I’ve observed some reasonable numbers. Anyone else?
-
After the update failed, I ended up doing a soft reset and that seemed to fully reset the watch (lost all historical data on the watch, which is a bummer, but oh well - at least it works now). Now it’s saying in the Suunto App that the new software package (2.30) has been downloaded, but the watch is saying it’s up-to-date (with 2.25). Tried hard resetting the watching, forgetting it in the app - nothing seemed to solve it.

First night with the new FW.
Sleep tracking seems pretty more accurate, and also ressources gain is completely changed (previously I never recovered up to 100%)
13 nights left for vfc tracking to goes on !(For now the only thing I found strange is way multiple alarms works (I don’t need it but went to have a look) : you can’t select the days you want it, only « everyday/week/one »)
-
@Tieutieu can’t see the detailed sleep tracking on the app
-
@Stefan-Kersting neither do I.
-
@Stefan-Kersting I think the full sleep functions on the Race (stages, naps) have not yet been brought over to this update, it is one of the only outstanding features still missing and matches the table from DCR. Something to hope for in the next round!
-
@Tieutieu I see a value for hrv.
-
Updated, cool! Will test it out over the weekend but first impressions from having a play with it are Suunto have done a great job. I dig it that we now have HRV
I like the new watchface, I just wish there was an option so you’re able leave the seconds sub dial on all of the time. For me it’s useful having that visible 24/7 and it’s a bit of a bummer it disappears
-
@bthomson22 check your pm
-
@Mitch9 I also do, but it needs 14 days to « calibrate »
-
@Tieutieu
for me, this first night sleep tracking is as “strange” as before : SV thought i was awake for 2h30, which i am pretty sure i was not (this time at least).
Btw, it won’t prevent me any outdoor adventure. -
@Juan-Sueiro try holding both buttons (middle and upper).

SV thought i was awake for 2h30,
For me too. SV and SA show 2 hours and 5 minutes I was awake.
Compared to my Google Nest, the start time on the SV was 10 minutes too late, the end time was identical. Google Nest gave me 25 minutes I was awake. May be SV is showing the REM sleep as awake time?
HRV was 10 points behind the Forerunner 255. I will see what will happen the next days …

-
@Jonathan-C that was disapointing
