Can you import data from other platforms to Suunto app?
-
As title says can you import data ( workouts, HRV, sleep…) from other platforms (Garmin, Polar…) into the Suunto app? I will be buying a new watch at some point, but really prefer the Suunto app over both Garmin and Polar and would love to import data from either into the Suunto app. I will probably get the Race, but until then…
Thanks

@surfratt You can only import activities as far as I know.
I use RunGap (iOS) for this purpose and keep my activities in sync throughout all accounts. -
@surfratt syncmytrack will sync your activities

@surfratt I also use RunGap to sync activities between platforms. I recently wrote a post about my experience importing my activity history into SA here - https://forum.suunto.com/topic/9658/progress-discrepancies
The problem I had was that SA produced inflated TSS scores for the imported activities compared to ones created by a connected Suunto watch, so all of the training and progress reports were out of whack. I solved this by editing the TSS scores for the imported activities (easy to do in SA) and all is good now. Just keep in mind that if you’re importing activities, your progress reports might not be accurate.

Oh so this explains a lot. I’ve been very puzzled by the different tss numbers from apple watch vs suunto vertical…

Does this work with just training (running and cycling etc) or does it also consolidate other data, such as sleep, and general activity (step and the like)?

Use Healthfit for the Apple Watch and set your zones in Healthfit to be the same as SA. Alternatively the AW will sync to Sporttracks and your activities will automatically be in SA. Sporttracks will not sync Power data from AW but Healthfit will.
