@ChrisA Can you please check TSS and CTL ramp rate values too? In my case they are slightly different.

@Kostas-Zinelis There is another threat about different training stats on the watch and app. This is a bug, that’s fixed in the upcoming firmware update (according to people testing this firmware).

@GiPFELKiND your HRV doesn’t seem to be fully calibrated (I mean you haven’t worn it for 14 days) maybe that has something to do with it?

@GiPFELKiND are you syncing both of your watches?
                  If yes: In wich order?
In the app I get the data of the first watch synced in the morning.

@GiPFELKiND As far as I know, all of this two way syncing from SA to the watch is new. We already know there are problems with training stats. It wouldn’t surprise me if this also applies to this single HRV value. Mine is off by 2ms, which is not a huge difference. But still it’s confusing for the user.

Same issue here! I have the same value - 23 ms in everynight . I had a chat yesterday with Suunto and they told me that i will receive additional information and steps to follow on the email. I am waiting for their answer .
I have to mention that i checked my HRV with Elite HRV App in this morning just after i woke up and the value was 55.
                          Did you solve your issue?

@Raduv there a huge differences between single HRV measurements and average values. My highest value this night was at 102, my lowest around 25.

@ChrisA Do you mean that your highest recorded average is 102 and your lowest recorded average is 25?

At least to my knowledge it is not possible to see the individual HRV measurements (and possible fluctuations) done during one night.

@Mads-Hintz-Madsen no, I meant I had an average of 51, but there were lows of around 25 and highs at 102, meassured with an Oura ring.

@ChrisA Got it. I see similar large HRV fluctuations on my Polar Pacer Pro.

Would be nice if the Suunto App would also show the nightly HRV as function of time similarly to Polar and Oura.

@Mads-Hintz-Madsen ah yes Polar’s nightly recharge is great and you’re right, a hrv curve would be nice to see!

@ChrisA i am talking about average values and for 7 nights the values are blocked at 23 ms. HRV it’s too low and according to the charts i have to visit a doctor : ) So i checked with Elite HRV app and the average for 3 min was 55 ms in the morning. I returned the watch yesterday and i am waiting for a new one today. I will come back with updates.

@Raduv Would be interesting to see, if there was an hardware issue. Did you always meassure in the morning after wakeup? I did this for a while and it gave me completly different (too high) values that when I used a device, which would track all the night.

@ChrisA That sounds reasonable. Measuring in the morning is a completely different situation than measuring during sleep and using an average value. That’s why the values are not comparable. I think HRV4Training has an article about that, where I have read this. However HRV is measured, you need to stick to one procedure to get valid results for analysis. You cannot even compare Polar (Nightly Recharge) with Suunto, because Polar only takes measurements of the first four hours of sleep into account.

@wmichi said in HRV values last night DIFFERENT in watch and app:

That’s why the values are not comparable.

Exactly and that’s why I think his observation that the Race reports something around 25 as HRV, tracking overnight and his morning readings are much higher are not comparable (and the Race values may be correct?)
