Not sure this is a common problem but I’m having difficulties connecting my SR to vitality.

I’ve connected the SR to Apple health, and vitality to Apple health. Whilst the SR records 15,000 step into health, vitality only sees the steps recorded from the iPhone and so I don’t get the correct points.

Has anyone got any ideas about a workaround?

      Thanks in advance

@David-l Did you get anywhere with this? I’m trying to do the same - I’ve been syncing to Apple Health, and I’ve also tried using a third party app to sync my suunto runs to a Garmin account and try to sync from there. Nothing seems to work. It’s a bit frustrating that the health insurance app thinks I’m relatively sedentary and never exercise 😅

@petejobes hey, no Vitality have said that they cannot use any data from sources other than Garmin, Apple, Fitbit and withings. They offered me 2 months free so I used that money, plus an extra 10% off, and bought a Garmin Vivo smart for £50. Works a treat and only use it really when I’m recording an exercise.

Hi. Which countries are you talking about? I’m sure we have Vitality integration, when they directly get activity data from our cloud, at least in some countries.

I think you can link the account to Suunto App. That should enable you to get the data in there:

Thanks @pavel-samokha, I’m UK as well so also no integration. I think it’s Vitality that haven’t done it, they don’t accept many trackers here. I’m going to let them know about VitalityOne integration tho and hopefully they might be able to lift and shift the code.

@petejobes @David-l Yes, true, in many countries, including South Africa, there is a Vitality to Suunto integration but not in UK

@petejobes would be nice if they sorted the vitality app out itself first but that’s a whole other topic 😂
