Breadcrump trail

I have problems in changing scale on breadcrumb trail (murupolku in Finnish) display scale. I have three Suunto watches: 9 Peak Pro, 9 Peak and Spartan Ultra. I want to use breadcrumb trail display on trail running.
Normal scale is 100m which is useless, I want 500m. Problem is that I can easily change scale with a tap of a finger in my Spartan Ultra. According to user manual the same should work with 9 Peak (and Pro), but it doesn’t. Tap of the finger just puts background light on. I have succeeded only once to change the scale. What I am doing wrong?

@Johnny99 if you hold the middle button you should be able to zoom in and out with the top and bottom button.
