Suunto as an app to WearOS watches

While I have been desparately waiting for new wear os watch from Suunto, it seems that S7 was the only one of it’s kind.
While reading about the new Pixel Watch today I started to think that Suunto should bundle their expertise into a Wear OS app for us who want to remain in smart watch domain? Happy to pay something for such app and keep supporting Suunto this way. -
@kurko unlike many I found the 7 to be a great watch. Even ran a short ultra with it and it had a lot of battery to spare!
I’d love to see a new WearOS device but unlikely I think.

I believe Suunto is working to use their own watch operating system to add smartwach functions as they go along. Example if appear a new device with NFC , the suunto OS can use it. But not all thinks that have WearOS

@kurko I would love that. I love my Suunto 7 (Except the fact that you can’t use a bluetooth HRM with the Suunto app) and a pixel watch with Suunto app on it would be a nice upgrade.
