Sorry I couldn’t resist to share my recent experience with S9PP and open water swimming. We went on a vacation and did open water swimming every day, but the S9PP measured always a ZERO as a distance. On every single swim. I understand how difficult it is for a watch to measure the correct distance. But zero on every single swim is disappointing. I basically made my girlfriend ditch her apple watch for a “real sports watch” (which she regrets). Not mentioning other issues… And now we’re ditching the S9PP…

@tomasbartko I experienced problems with OWS on my 9pp as well. I have described them in another thread. After I came back from the sea holiday I sent logs to Suunto, granted them access to my 8 days of OWS activities. Last week on Monday I got a reply. We had already cleared all other things during the chat with support. Still they included those advices in their reply which I find redundant as I know all that. With my other watch those advices really work. Not with 9PP. But check out the last sentence of their reply. I read this as “this watch is useless for OWS as long as it’s on your wrist “. I gave up. Tomorrow going back for a week or so to the sea. Definitely, I’ll be removing 9pp from wrist every time I go swimming.
