Snorkeling display bug since 2.27.8
Hi there !
Since last update to 2.27.8, snorkeling UI is broken.
What I mean is that font size is so small that it is impossible to read depth and diving time while snorkeling.
Text is also misaligned.
It used to be perfectly fine in pre 2.27.8 version.

I’ve also informed the french support team on twitter but I’m still waiting for an answer regarding a fix.
If anyone can help pushing this issue on the bug/fix list, that would be nice.
Of course, I already reset the watch and other people seem to have the same issue, font is ridiculously small and misaligned:

@Matthieu-Selsek Has been reported several times. I don’t know if someone’s working on it, though.
@Ilya-Sul Hopefully, if enough people report it someboday will fix it.
I mean, it seems to be only a formating issue.
I search for it in the forum but only found one post after posting this one.
Does anyone know if it is possible to downgrade to older version ?
I have found links to firmware and post talking about suuntolink but I don’t know how to connect the watch or install the older firmware
I found the same problem this week, so at least I know my watch isn’t faulty.
I’m not an expert but I guess that if you were able to downgrade the firmware, the watch would just reinstall the latest FW from Suunto App within a few days, unlike the 9 Baro which needs to be connected to SuuntoLink.

I might be the first one who found the error.
I have 2 days free diving trip during the latest update.
On the day before update, everything fine but next day after update the watch can not read time and deep underwater.
I tried to restart and factory reset. It not fixed.
I asked to service center, they said no one found the error.
So, I think might be error only my watch, I sent my watch to service center to check it, and service center sent me the reserved watch same model 9 peak pro to me during check up.
I found the reserved watch error as the same.
Finally I’m sure the conclusion is software error.
Service center sent information to Finland already.
But untill now there is nothing at all since 28th June.
maybe my 2 cents… how deep is “deep”? I mean we’re talking about snorkling mode and you mention freediving, which is… well, somewhat beyond normal human’s imagination
(I recall deepth is limited… I can’t dive that deep )
@freeheeler Actually suunto 9 peak pro is not dive com. It’s just a running watch added snorkeling mode.
So it can tell only 1-10 meter deep.
I’m runner not the diver and don’t serious about deep.
Just upset about bug from update.
I see… I’ll try with mine if I get the chance to try. it’s really something I rarely do
