Using Stryd when in endurance mode
-
I have experimented with using Stryd when my Peak is in endurance mode assuming that if I have auto-calibration to Stryd OFF then my watch is using the Stryd for distance not GPS when it is only functioning as ‘good’ not excellent ie bypassing the less accurate GPS. However I still got data as if my watch was picking up GPS every minute. I thought Stryd would bypass this? I always use Stryd connected as a power pod to my watch with auto-calibrate off.

@loopylou72 for distance you need Stryd connected as running pod, not power pod. Can you plot a distance graph and see how often distance is updating?
The issue with battery modes is that endurance affects not only GPS, but other parameters as well, so it may be that everything is updated less often. You could try with a custom mode in which you just change GPS mode to see if there are differences. -
@isazi thanks for this. I do have it connected as a footpod

I wish Sunnto worked better with Stryd - any plans to improve?
distance looks to be around every 180m but strangely not from the start? Pace and fastest pace was inaccurate on this chart.
