Hands off of my navigation zoom!

Can we, pretty please, have an update to how navigation zoom behaves after each pause? Can we teach our watches that um - they remember what zoom level used to be set before the pause?
I get it that 100m is universal… For running. But for cycling 250m is more suitable. Especially when moving fast and being unable to look constantly at the watch.
Why is it being stubbornly reset to 100m? Why the watch can’t remember the last zoom level for a particular workout similar to how it remembers S+ and battery modes?
