Skip an interval?
-
Is there any way to skip to the next interval on the watch? Say that I programmed 10 repetitions and just want to do 9 and then go to cool down?
On Garmin you could do it by pressing lap button. Is there any way to do in on 9PP? Tried but can’t find any way to do it.

@SuperD do you mean structured workouts you design in SA?
I think the simple intervals on the watch can be skipped by pressing the lower button, likewise the structured workouts planned with TP or intervals.icu, but I’m not sure about the ones made withing SA itself. -
@DMytro
Yes, structured workout but I tried basic intervals on the watch but didn’t get it to work -
@SuperD hm, maybe not yet possible with new UI? Let’s wait for some s9pp owners to chime in.

@DMytro yeah that’s right you can skip it by pressing the lap button

For TP on the Vertical this does not work. It just gives you a new LAP.
It worked OK with 9p.
Any way you can skip an interval in TP with the new watches?

I noticed this as well. All of the workouts that I created with TrainingPeaks allows you to tap the lap button to skip to the next interval. However I have yet to find a way to skip to the next interval with the workouts that are created in the SA. Honestly I wonder if it was just an oversight since you can do this using other applications like TrainingPeaks.

@TyreseJ4 I can’t do it with the Training Peaks workouts, that I get uploaded???

@Ketoohs I don’t have it open in front of me but I believe there’s an option at every rep in TP that you have to select to skip to next repetition at the press of the lap button. If it doesn’t work the first time you may have to edit in TP and re-save to the watch.

@Ketoohs are you scheduling the workout for a specific date, or just selecting it on the watch from a list? There is a bug [1] reported in the forum and acknowledged by Suunto.

@isazi Thanks. The workaround works if I choose it from a list, while we wait for the fix…
