Sensor damage

Hi!
Not sure how this happened but i got suunto 9 peak pro sensor damage as show in picture.How to check if everything is still ok?
What are these sensor even for?

@krakra if I’m correct, those are not sensors, but connectors for support to read out the device. So you are lucky, until a repair is needed.

@twekkel but those are just contact pins, so a few scratches shouldn’t affect it’s working capability.

These are the depth meter sensors. To check that they are not damaged, the watch must be plunged into the water to a certain depth. Normally there is a specific screen when this function is activated it seems to me.

What @aroo7 said is the truth. Those are connecting ports that are used by Suunto customer service to fix your watch if it’s bricked and you send it to repair. You know, there is no other way than Bluetooth to communicate with the watch, so if you brick you watch service needs a way to fix it, e.g. reupload the firmware, without Bluetooth working.

@ADidier Air pressure and depth pressure are the same sensor. Makes sense right? The decades old Suunto Core also does air and depth ‘pressure’ same way, and of course no metal pins on back.

Those are not depth sensors, depth and altitude come from the same sensor. Those are service pins, let’s try to not spread fake news here.
@krakra if you have a damage of any kind, ask support if they can help. A damaged watch is usually your fault, so you may have to pay for service, but they can probably fix your watch.
