Edit apps to notify
-
@SuperD yes you can select the apps you want notifications from.

@isazi
Sorry for being a newbie but where do I find it in Suunto app? Running iOS -
@SuperD I don’t know how notifications on iOS work, only Android. Asking @Brad_Olwin
-
@SuperD - on iOS the notifications are unfortunately all or nothing. It would be great if one could select which apps can send notifications or at least make a selection based on category - calls / messages / apps / … (this is what Garmin has)
-
@Freezer
I understand it is all or nothing but depending on iOS setting. watch shows what your phone notifies. e.g. if you have muted emails, it’s muted on both… does that make sense? -
@Freezer
That’s too bad. Just came from garmin and it’s a very nice feature in garmin connect, it also works in iOS so it must be possible for outer apps to do the same. If it works in Suunto on android then I hope I also would in the app for iOS -
@SuperD The way I manage this is with which notifications reach my Lock Screen in iOS. I only have a few VIP email notifications and this forum and phone calls. So, you can manage notifications from iOS and it is fairly flexible. The notifications are not managed from the watch. From what I remember of the Epix2 I had, it was similar on iOS but I am not sure now as I sold it last year.

In the Coros iOS app, you can configure certain app notifications in a rudimentary way. So there seems to be possibilities, but I have no idea about it. Maybe this is an option for future SA updates

@Brad_Olwin
So notifications that will appear on the Lock Screen will also appear on the watch? -
@SuperD Yes, that is how I have mine set up.
