Faulty Recording

@HurricaneWeasel
The question was ,did you use any specific battery power management.Please test it again with performance battery mode.
-
@zhang965 That would not be helpful. I ran today with the same settings and it worked fine. That error occurred 2 times in 187 runs. Even if the error does not occur with changed power settings, the power settings still would not be as I need them to be.
-
@HurricaneWeasel yes, but knowing exactly which setting you were using can help troubleshoot and fix the issue
-
@HurricaneWeasel This happened me not too long ago. Were you using an app (i.e. structured workout)? And if YES, did you have auto-pause selected?
If YES to both, would suggest disabling autopause.
-
@HurricaneWeasel A second possible issue is something is wrong with your custom sport mode, I would try deleting and set up another. Perhaps use a default mode and see it the GPS failure happens as well,

@HurricaneWeasel I’ve turned mine off altogether. I don’t need it for running, and it’s slow. It completely lost a workout I did a few months ago.
-
Thank you all for trying to help me. This is much appreciated.
-
@Steven-Limmer
That is frustrating. 🤨 Sadly I do like the setting, as I sometimes have to wait at Intersections. The auto pause has to work much more, when I drive my bike to work (multiple lights, I have to wait at). Never lost a workout there. -
@HurricaneWeasel it is possible that a new firmware will be release soon, so I would wait for that, and if something happens with the new firmware, we can send a bug report to Suunto.
-
@isazi Ok, thank you.
-
Just one question… Was the battery near empty? I mean, when you’re are below a concrete number 10%?, the watch enters in a “save battery mode” and then less data is collected
-
@suzzlo No, battery was about 75 %.
-
It happened again. I just now (8:23 a.m. GMT+2) sent the logs. I turn off Autopause now.
This watch an me is becoming a love-hate relationship…Recorded:

@HurricaneWeasel Can you show links to SA and not SportsTracker. I have been using my 9Peak and have not seen this issue. It should not be happening.
