Peak Pro bezel dot

Hello,
I’ve noticed my Peak Pro has a dark red dot in bezel area in six o’clock. It’s just above Suunto logo arrow that’s on side a side of the watch so I don’t know is my screen malfunctioning or is it maybe light sensor for screen backlight.
Do you guys have it or is it defect?

@suzzlo Yeah, it is the same one. I bought this because I wanted something between fancy leather and sporty silicone strap. This is more sweat durable than leather.
