Just bt. If I unpair it from WearOS is will do a factory reset.You can do it without resetting the watch, just search for ADB and the needed commands.

@pilleus
Necessary commands to do what exactly? Unpair from WearOS? What will that do, and what is the next step should I be able to do it? -
Just to clarify, this issue is affecting the App on my Watch, not the App on my phone. Will disconnecting/unpairing resolve the problem or have any effect on the App running on my Watch?

@rickmcmullen Try to delete the cache or even all data of the Suunto app on the watch and force the app to stop. Then start the app again and maybe it will work again.
Settings - apps and info - system apps

I tried clearing the cache (which doesn’t actually clear it…there’s still data in the cache…it doesn’t go to zero) and it didn’t work. Clearing the data will essentially perform a factory reset which I’m trying to avoid if at all possible. -

Clearing the data will
reset the settings in the Suunto app on the watch, nothing else. Custom profiles and so on. It doesn’t affect the WearOS settings or other apps or the watch face or general watch settings.
I assume that you are in the settings of the Suunto app in the section system apps!

I cleared the data and now when I try to go through the Setup it bombs after the 2nd screen where I need to select Gender. -
@rickmcmullen Okay, then the app is corrupted and must be restored by a factory reset. I think there is no other way for you to fix it.
I personally would activate the developer mode and then would deactivate the Suunto app via ADB, reboot the watch and activate it again. But it needs some experience with ADB and the command line to send the needed code.
Did you reboot the watch after deleting the data? Give it a try.

@pilleus
Yes, I rebooted the watch after deleting the data. I just went forward with the factory reset. That seems to have fixed it…this time!
