S9 PEAK PRO - SuuntoPlus Guides not syncing

@michalpt Remove some of the apps, the max you can have is 15. That may be preventing you from loading Guides. I am not sure as I have not tested this but I will and will get back to you.

@Brad_Olwin This has no effect, I just synced all 15 apps and three guides.

@michalpt When selecting an activity in the watch, and you scroll to SuuntoPlus, tap on it, you see the list with the sport apps? Scrolling to the bottom, there are still no guides even after selecting them and adding them to the watch like you showed in your YT video?

@jthomi Ok, I did not check this yet, thanks. I had issues with Guides during testing but not with release firmware. I am at a loss for this one.

@jthomi No, none of the guides I tried to import or the workouts I tried to create appears on my watch. Only the chosen SuuntoPlus Apps are listed there. Then there is the “Guides” section headline but nothing below it …
@Brad_Olwin I tried removing all 15 apps, but again it had no effect.

So according to the Suunto IT team, there is a bug in the Suunto App for iOS affecting the guides and structured workouts, and it’ll get resolved with the next update. My watch should be absolutely fine … fingers crossed.

OH, it’s great, but you’d better to ask them WHEN is the next update, it can be next month or 2024.

@zhang965 Well, according to the Suunto App versions history found at Apple AppStore, new updates are released regularly every 1–2 months and the last one was released two weeks ago … so I would expect the next one at the beginning of February. That sounds good enough to me

@michalpt Is the bug only in the App Store version? If so the beta should work and you could switch. Alternatively, if the beta is not working delete it and load the App Store version.

@Brad_Olwin It came to my mind as well … However, since the functionalities in concern—guides and structured workouts—are quite minor and not that substantially important to me right now, I’d rather not risk breaking some other features by switching to the beta version. And the IT team didn’t even mention the availability of the beta version, so it might not even help. Besides, I’ll be quite busy this month because of exams and my thesis, so if the update arrives after that, it’ll be right on time. Nevertheless, thank you for that suggestion.

@zhang965 The new version 2.19.2 of the Suunto App for iOS was just released at AppStore, and everything works absolutely fine now! Hurrah!
