Im owning a spartan sport wrist hr and have just updated to 2.0.40 recently. On my instant HR display(swipe down from the watch face), it always show 72bpm for some minute(usualy 3-5 mins) before it really start to show my real heart rate? Is it a bug ? Or any purpose on this issue?
-
Yes it is bug
-
I noticed this, but thought that it was just the WHR waiting to get a solid signal. Hmmm
-
@oeagleo seems HR sensor resets itself to 72 as starting point. I have scosche rhythm which utilize valancell sensor as well and it acts the same until hr is locked it shows 72.
-
Same here, bug or are we all robots with same fw?

-
@suzzlo bug which wasnβt present with 10min graph in old FW.
-
Definitely, a bug and I think itβs confirmed. After a few seconds it should be ok
-
well β¦ about the 10 min graph β¦

-
@sartoric donβt put salt, we know where we left last time

-
@slash point taken
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos same here. Sometimes it needs over a minute. Definitly a bug.
-
Moved to lounge.
-
Yeah not much faith in the instant HR. Shows 72 or doesnβt change if I increase activity. Stays the same until it times out and goes back to the main watch face. WHR seems to be fine during runs/excerise. Actually better than before the update. Any news on a bug fix? Or maybe I should try and reinstall the update, maybe that would fix it?
-
@barfoot what is the WHR version on your wathc ?
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos its a Sport Wrist Hr All Black. Or do you mean the Valencell version?
-
@barfoot VAllencel version
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos Valencellsays 6571 in the settings. Am I looking in the right spot?
-
@barfoot yup that is the latest.
-
This still seems to be a bit buggy in .42, Valancell 6571.
Observed: swipe to instant HR, a number is displayed. This number is usually static, then reverts to the 72 number.
Expected: dynamic number reflecting HR.
Bug, or are my expectations incorrect?
-
@ze-stuart static number is last your hr, 72 number is starting point before hr lock and this should go away as misleading customers
