Isn’t it great you can just return it and no one will force you to wear it anymore?
is this also Suunto feature??? Or EU customer protection law???
The bone with garmin 7 was trowed for suunto fan boys…nice that it has workedNo, I will stay with SA3P as long is supported and once they stop it, I will consider to chose something what better suits me and works without issues, bugs, bad design choices, and does not look as lgbt wannabe outdoor watch
welcome to suunto community…
Whatever you will use for your future journey, I hope you can live far away from these fanboys… whatevery suunto fanboy…garmin fanboy omega fanboy… or media controls fanboy
PEACE!

@A Former User Why comments in such a negative and sarcastic tone? In the internet you can read the watch specs and functions. You bought the watch in Amazon and you have a return period. So you are covered if the watch does not meet your expectations. Suunto people on this forum help us get the most of Suunto watches. If you feel that your watch is really that bad call customer support, use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram whatever for addressing Suunto directly. I think when you register a new Suunto watch you will get a survey mail to provide first impression. Criticism in a normal tone is always a positive thing, but it is not fair to communicate in such manner with Suunto people here. You do not know if they were part of watch, software and UI design. You do not know the limitations during watch design phase. If you are happy with Garmin, great you have found your watch. In the end it is just a watch…no thing is perfect, some things are more suitable, some less, there is always a choice.

I don’t know why there are lot of people keep S9B as an example in a S9PP review…
I don’t see @A Former User talk about Garmin a lot in this post (almost not at all)… he’s stuck with Ambit3.If a person says one suunto watch is not that good, it doesn’t mean he will go with Garmin.
-
@zhang965 The dude said exactly that about 10 angry posts earlier…"this watch goes today back to amazon, long live garmin 7x solar saphire…’
Hence the suggestions to move to another forum if he doesn’t prefer the S9PP.
-
@isazi Cant agree more. If there are forum guidelines, I would hope a comment like that would ban a person from the Suunto forums, no?

I think the personal attacks on all fronts should cease. I would like to remind everyone that humans design, test and sell the hardware and firmware that all of you use, no matter what the brand. Please remember this and those that are enthusiastic about a brand and support that brand may disagree with those that are more critical. That is fine but I think using negative connotations that are personal and a lack of civility are both unacceptable. Please remember that individuals livelihoods are invested in what you are discussing. Employ empathy to see what you might feel like if you were in someone else’s shoes.

OMFG, hopefully you didn’t suggest me to buy an omega.

@zhang965 My bad I understood he said “this watch goes today back to amazon, long live garmin 7x solar saphire”. I agree, it does not mean he/she will go to Garmin…it could be Polar, Coros or Suunto. I just think the discussion about S9PP has developed in a bad way. I believe people in Suunto know what are brand’s advantages and disadvantages and how to attract their customers. If they are on the right path, time and customers will tell.
-
@zhang965 Weird. I read your post twice and have no idea what you are on about. You and the other dude seem angry. Not sure why.
I agree with Brad Olwin - a little more positive constructive criticism tone would be nice, even friendly banter would be preferred. If people cant do that, I guess you are showing your quality, or immaturity. The forum I hope is about problem solving, critiques and help. Not trashing the watch over and over again if you dont prefer it.
Im having a lot of fun with my Suunto, my Hammerhead, as much as I did with Polars, Garmins and Coros. Hoping this forum can stay positive generally.

I don’t get you, have you tried read 3rd times or should I teach you what I’m on about or not?

You have many ways to enjoy one thing, it’s like two faces on one coin or 6 faces on one rubik’s cube.
at least there is someone speaks what they think, there are lot of silenced returns we don’t know why, I learnt a lot with the exchanges in this post.
