It would be better to have notification switches of each App in Suunto/Movescount App instead of system settings

Thank you! And, what about iOS? Sorry, forget to add [iOS]

I am not sure this is possible as Notifications are baked into the iOS System-wide management. We do have choices within the app of what type of Notifications get sent but I am unaware of any app in iOS that lets you set notifications for other apps.

@brad_olwin in iOS app only are having API for notification read and clear notifications in Notification Center, as I remember thru api you can only see from what type of app notification is coming from, call, mail, messaging and etc. IOS whole point is that you need to control apps in Notification Center level and it makes sense, as you will end up with multiple settings in the multiple apps and will be lost in nowhere. Personally I have only most important notifications coming to Notification Center, phone call miss, mail, messages. Social media stuff is turned off as would end of checking phone every 1min 🙂

@slash So just for @snowleopard and me to get it right we cannot have app specific notifs on iOS, right? (well reasoned)

Apart from the rest of the stuff that of course could be better.

Correct, this will not work in iOS and it is very easy to control what notifications are sent to the watch (phone screen) in iOS. This will not change AFAIK so the request should be made only for Android.

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos unfortunately you can’t as you won’t be able to know from which app notification comes from. This is iOS limitation, not the suunto app.
Maybe something changed as long, long time ago I was working with iOS API’s.
Garmin do not have such filtering, polar and Fitbit as well.
