SuuntoLink Win7
-
Hi
Does anyone have a SuuntoLink installer that runs on Windows 7? The latest one supports 8.1 and it won’t run because of that -
@qwerty01 Windows 7 is not supported anymore.
-
I know. I want older installer.

@qwerty01
for sync or update the watch? -
@qwerty01 Older versions of Suuntolink would most likely not connect to Suunto servers, so that is not a solution.
Windows 7 is not supported, but: what you could try to do is this. SuuntoLink 4.1 uses PowerShell, and PowerShell version in Windows 7 may be too old. Installing Windows Management Framework 5.1, which includes Windows PowerShell 5.1 may help: https://www.microsoft.com/download/details.aspx?id=54616. I’ve seen it help other people.

@Spree Thanks for the info, I retired my Ambit 3 Peak last year as Suunto had wrecked the usefulness of it, I had many apps on Movescount and I loved to write them. They still run on it but I cant write any more. The Suunto Android App is very flaky on Ambit 3 and I could not use the USB on my PC. Your suggestion has enabled me to get the Ambit 3 back on my wrist and the exercises are sent from the PC to the Android App (not anywhere as good as Movescount was but progress is ? regress in this case) I have read the reviews of new Suunto watches and can understand why they are so poor, I have had a Suunto watch since 2002 and am a great fan, or I was, they have lost the plot

@caldirun
and to “write” apps, there seems to be something here https://forum.suunto.com/post/101277
can’t help on this, but you may ask to others if needed. -

Unfortunately I don’t have that pc with me to tell you the version…maybe 2.28.1
