This is what my GPS thought I did on the track today

I did an interval session on an athletics track today. You know, like, running laps around an oval-shaped track. OR so I thought. This is what my GPS thought I did today…

@Cornell-Tsiang Not a Suunto 5 owner but looks to me like bad GPS signal and almost random intervals on GPS position. If you were in a certain position without running around (or indoors?) I would also guess GPS drift but I pressume you shouldn’t get so many vertical connections.

Thanks. It was outdoors! I think it was bad GSP reception. It was fine last week. It was a shock when I saw the map! All my intervals were messed up. Funny when you think about it

@Cornell-Tsiang Well, some people would call your trace an art piece

@Cornell-Tsiang this looks like battery saving mode was on. The first km is fine and the rest on 1min interval ?

I do have battery saving as default. However, when I select a sport, I think it gets turned off? I didn’t do anything different on this run as with my other runs. They all had normal GPS results.

@Cornell-Tsiang it has to have blue to green color before you start
