Suunto 9 Peak Pro?
-
@lexterm77 I don’t know, I’m on Android beta.
-
@lexterm77 yes, it is
-
@pilleus Is it possible or will it ever be possible to see notifications on the watch from third party apps as well? Thanks.
-
@Martin-Vrska it’s possible, yes.
-
@taziden I can only see sms, WhatsUp, Instagram in the app, but how do I add more please?
-
-
@Martin-Vrska within Suunto App, click on the watch icon top right, then in the list, you should have an entry called “Notifications on the watch” or something like that (it’s in french for me). There you can select which applications can or can’t deliver notifications to the watch.
Edit: I have at least one application for which it doesn’t work but I suspect the issue comes from the 3rd party app as it has not been updated in a while.

@altcmd soon, if everything goes well.

It seems that not all apps are on that list by default. Sometimes you need to receive a new notification from an app for it to be on the list.
My experience. It may already be documented here.

Are there any plans to make widgets open for external developers like S+ apps?
-
@Łukasz-Szmigiel I’ve heard somewhere that s+ might be expanding to watch mode also. Don’t know if/when this will happen, but I suppose it’s precisely what you want.
-
@taziden Are you referring to iOS or Android? In iOS, i dont see any further selection beyond widgets on or off.
-
@altcmd try holding the widget and moving it?
-
@DMytro I see great potential in it to expand watch value beyond sports. Ie weather (via phone bt), AQI (also via phone bt and GPS for location) and during sports for beacon (you guessed it - via phone bt).
-
@Łukasz-Szmigiel
You mean moving it here?
-
@Łukasz-Szmigiel I really like the direction suunto is heading. Hope this will reflect in their sales too.
-
@Łukasz-Szmigiel Not sure I can move the widgets. They have the simepl one-off switch next to them and that’s it. Not able to move them around or long-press to see options.
-
@altcmd
Same here -
@lexterm77 Yeah, atleast on iOS I am not able to what some seem to claiming to selecting some notification options, or even move the widgets around. Some clarity on this would be useful.

I can’t either move widgets on SA. Only on/off switch. I use IOS latest commercial version 2.17.2.
