My Suunto 5 is stuck on the updating screen and when I plug it into my computer it says that a reset is required… But when I hit reset, it says updating for a while and then says “Update Failed” “Firmware update error: Mode switch failure to application, is UpdateApplication”
Any helpfull ideas,what I could do?

12seg reboot = maintain upper button pressed during 13 seconds

@suzzlo thx for the tip. Could you give a more detailed description, like witch button exactly when to press?
@Kasper My wife’s S5 has been behaving similarly since yesterday: I did a hard reset, the watch started up, but after a few hours it showed the arrow symbol again and does not respond to any button. Tomorrow I will take it to the store where I bought it and make a claim.
