Suunto 7 - sleep not synching to suunto app
-
@O-A I just had the same issue. Uninstalling and reinstalling the Suunto App resolved the problem.
-
I’ve also just had to this, sorted the problem so thank you.
I’ve also noticed the last few nights that my watch has been losing 25-30% battery overnight rather than the more usual 8-10% so I’m hoping that this will help that issue too.
-
@James-Howes in my suunto 7 i also noticed higher battery consumption while sleeping.
I didn’t change any settings in the watch itself, I don’t know what’s going on …??? -
Good afternoon. I also have excessive battery consumption for 2 days. Looking at the consumption of the battery in the mobile, I see that the wear application has increased the %.
I have also not changed any settings, nor installed anything new. -
I’m glad it’s not just me then!
I’ll keep my eye on it for a few days now I’ve re-installed the app in case there’s any conceivable link between the two and if it doesn’t improve I’ll try the battery test and report it to Suunto

@James-Howes
Gentlemen, how long have you had your watches because I have mine for over 2 years? -
I had this issue to, it is caused by the last update of wear os.
To solve it uninstall the last update. -
Maybe a new thread with this issue could be usefull.
-
@Kajkom Mines just over a year old.

Mine was no better last night, it’s turned it into needing the watch to be topped up in the morning which is far from ideal!
-
@James-Howes Check your battery stats on your mobile on wear os. If the wear os app from your watch is first on battery consumption, it’s not normal and it comes from the last update.

Indeed, mine came off charge at 0830 this morning and its almost 1400 now and it’s at 69% (which is probably fairly typical) - Wear OS is showing as 8%. I don’t know what it was before though?
How does one go about uninstalling the last Wear update?
-
@James-Howes ! Android system should be first, wear os is usually just some percents.
-
-
@Kramble How can you uninstall the latest update of wear os?
-
@Justin-0 Not sure if there is a better way, but if you go into Play Store on the watch it allows you to search for WearOS and uninstall it. The watch then appears to default to the previous version of 2.46.0.365 vs the version of 2.59.0.471 my watch was previously showing.
