S9P steps
-
Hi. I couldn’t find a recent response to anything on step counting. I’m coming from Garmin, and my wife has a Garmin. All of our steps have for the past years been pretty close for our trail runs and hikes. It’s a fun thing we do to compare. My new S9P isn’t even close. 2 hour hike shows 6000 steps? This is less than half what it should be. It’s not just a single hike - it’s over several hikes/runs. Any suggestions? (Ps watch is still resetting graphs when scrolling right on alti/baro graph)

@mikekoski490 steps are super inaccurate for s9B, s9P, it’s kinda by desing according to suunto.
Some time ago I heard suunto was looking into developing a better algorithm. Don’t know if/when it will come, but the new update might be on the horizon, so we’ll see. -
@DMytro Thanks!
