@andrasveres meh, this technology is a couple decades old XD.
-
@dmytro but it work from quite a few couple of thousand years now and more important, it adapts pretty amazingly.
-
@andrasveres yeah, but:
Long charging cycles
Abundance of paid premium services
Not waterproof unless with a special case
No warranty -
I also still missing a website…
I often make a route on a website.
When I want to import a route in the watch first I have to send it to my mobile than import into the suunto app and than synchronize my watch…
Also I’m missing an overview of my training efforts.
A manufacture like Garmin is doing this a lot better. -

A manufacture like Garmin is doing this a lot better. It’s a matter of choosing the right 3rd party. Komoot for the routes, Strava (if premium) for everything, runanalyze for overview , intervals.icu
Although like you I prefer to have one thing in one place , today as far as heavily discussed on this forum is not on Suunto’s plans to have again a site. So either you accept and learn how to deal with it (and everyone can help) or change brand -
I wasn’t sure untill my yesterday test, with my supreme joy I found that hrTSS is identical between A3P and S9B. That’s the thing I could not have overlooked. So I can train by feeling and still evaluate if my training is consistent with my training plan.
Great! -
@awinkel have a look at intervals.icu - it’s really great in those aspect! AND; Garmins webinterface is awful when it comes to evaluating data - you want to see your pace developement over the last 6 months? They will give you a graphic with 6 dots on it, without any further data or possibility dive deeper into or overlay another metric (like HR) - Garmin for me makes beautiful watches and has lots of features, but it’s awfully in presentation an structure of this data

A manufacture like Garmin is doing this a lot better. If you have an iPad or Apple Silicon Mac the app runs great on a larger screen and you can add the route directly.
Second, Garmin IMHO is not better. Getting a route into a Garmin watch is convoluted and confusing. A lot of steps and internet necessary.

I don’t know where I set FTP = 250 before (maybe it’s a personalized app of ambit).
Now my FTP = 264.
I have to calculate the TSS = TSS (P) / 1.115 1.115=(264/250)^2
calculated by SuntoZH every time。Device:Ambit2

@zt_zzzzz you just made me remind that I can try and use a custom app for zone.
Yes ftp was a parameter to be set in TSS custom app -

Yes ftp was a parameter to be set in TSS custom appBut
I recompiled a new custom app and defined FTP = 264,But it didn’t work. The result is still the original 250 -
