New software update for S9P-S9B-S9-S5P-S5 and S3 devices 2.20.28
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos sounds exciting, thanks
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos just watched dcrainmaker video, looks very helpful!
Is it planned to create the workouts just with SA? -
I guess a new Suunto App update will come soon including SuuntoPlus Guides ?
-
Perfect, thank you Suunto. Happy testing day everyone
-
@v-sacre they are already there
-
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos oh, btw, is the new vO2max algo also being applied for hiking? Since, you know, there are quite a few elevation changes compared to walking.
-
@dmytro yes for all sports that have ascent and descent for example
-
Once you update your watches the Suunto app will pop the new Guides feature FYI
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos Yes indeed I discover it right after the watch update
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos very nice, finally vO2max may become a metric of interest for me!
-
âWHR toggle rememberedâ and âwhr wrist detectionâ - this just made my day. For some of us little things like this mean a lot
-
what is WHR toggle remembered? Thanks is it the switch in activity options?
-
@mountainchris if you toggle the WHR in a sport, it remembers the configuration. So if you donât want WHR, you donât have to do it every time.
-
@mountainchris the watch remembers the last state of the wrist HR sensor. If on your last activity you chose wrist HR off then it will be off by default on the next activity.
No more pushing buttons before every run. -
@isazi thanks. Is switching from WHR to belt / belt to WHR possible during activity ?
-
@mountainchris no
-
Oh, so the S5 is still being updated. Nice. Wasnât expecting that.
Itâs interesting that first there was a new ascent algo, which allowed for new VO2MAX algo.
Was the bug related to burner and switching navigation fixed?
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos Are there bugfixes S9P WHR? Last weekend I was hiking and had values way too low. In the beginning it was maybe little bit cold. But later very warm. But values didnât went correct. With running i had good experiences in past in mild conditions.
-
@mountainchris nothing changed related to OHR for what I know.
-
@Ĺukasz-szmigiel yes in theory
