Bug: Sleep oxygen, no measurement = 100% in report
-
@dominick you do not see the actual measurements at night, only one value in the sleep section. This is by design, not a bug.
-
@isazi When there is no measurement it automatically goes to 100%, I had several nights whereby I didnt wear the watch and it still captured 100% blood oxygen.
-
@brad_olwin In my app it does show it as 100% so there is something causing this. I am using ios and the latest version (no beta).
-
@dominick oh right, wait a few more weeks for that
-
Sorry you did not specify in the first post that you are not wearing the watch, now it is all clear. This should be fixed soon, but the problem is not that the watch is not getting any measurement and says 100%, it is that is measuring signal from a surface that is not your wrist.
-
@isazi Ah oke, any eta on the update?
-
@dominick not that I can share, but third parties are hinting at something.
-
@isazi doubt it is fixed. I have ‘blood oxygen’ measurement turned off (after having on 2 nights to test), but reports keep consistently reporting 100% after being turned off.
-
@twekkel I have reported it soon after Peak Pro launch.
-
@twekkel so with sleep tracking enabled and SpO2 disabled you get measurements? Can you spot the red lights on if you check the watch? I could report this, but there is a new firmware coming to S9PP soon so not sure it’s worth.
-
@isazi indeed sleep tracking is enabled and SpO2 is disabled. Not sure if the red light also shows up during the night, have seen green.
Guess that @renton82 is right and it is a reporting error (while actually there isn’t a measurement). Last 7 days I have consistently 100%… while when I did enable SpO2 briefly, it fluctuated 97~99%.
I will wait for the new firmware, but it can very well be an issue in reporting/app and not firmware related.
-
@twekkel if there’s no red lights it can be just an error reporting it. I’ll test it to ight with the new firmware and let you know. Remember me tomorrow
-
@twekkel I did enable 24 hours HR, sleep tracking, and disabled SpO2. Went to sleep. Watch detected sleep, and in the morning message it did not show up oxygen level.
-
@isazi calling me a liar?
Did a soft reset, see if it makes a difference. Else will wait for the firmware update… and even if that doesn’t fix it, it isn’t a big deal.
-
@twekkel I’m using the new firmware, so it may be fixed in it.
-
@isazi soft reset solved it
