Hey there , so connected GPS did not work when I selected the Activity as Trekking . Is this the case ? I could understand if it was the walking that you wouldn’t track via GPS but for Trekking it seems a miss .

        That’s weird.
Do you see any gray arrow or there’s no arrow at all when you enter the activity menu (not yet started) ?

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos that’s cool it maybe a powerful saving feature on the phone . I definitely had a green arrow before I started the activity .

I have an android phone , Huawei Mate 10 Pro and have now set the app to run in the background under the launch options .

It’s tracked me fine but he activity didn’t show a map of the route taken . Is it supposed to do this ?

@andy-dennis Sounds a bit buggy and I have seen similar ones on Android. There can be the case:

              a) App is fine to provide GPS
              b) Activity is started
              c) People take pictures or use the phone or the phone goes to some strange state and the App GPS Service gets killed.

Unfortunately, on Android, there can be a lot of things interfering with this.

However, if the app loses GPS or the watch you should have a prompt about it. (Notification)…

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos so I’ve taken a look at this tonight . walking and Trekking do not record the route you have taken via GPS on a map. In my case mountain biking does. This seems strange to me, walking I can. Understand but Trekking you would want the GPS trail on the map.

Also within the App, why is there no way to see a daily graph of your resting heart rate , or your heart rate over a period of days ?

Lastly , the App keepings waiting for the application to respond in the diary section, switching between elements or in the home page editing an app. Perhaps better caching/background sync of previously completed activities is required here ?

Whatever it is , it doesn’t occur in the Sports Tacker app.

                Still love it though !!!
