@jasmin-klipic Hi, I have inpeak power meter, paired as power pod. This wattmeter has both: power sensor and cadence sensor and I am receiving both informations and can see them both in real time on my watch. No issue. My watch is S9b.

@zadow try to add speed sensor to your setup (imho speed sensor is very important to have logged rapid change in speed - sprints/brakes and correct distance)

do you add cadence sensor separately as bike pod?

@jasmin-klipic nope, I added just a power pod. Cadence is somehow there, reported together with power from the powermetter. I can see it realtime directly on the watch during the activity.

@zadow most power meters also transmit cadence. The only issue here is: if you pair both a power and bike pod, the watch will get cadence from the bike pod, not the power pod, even if the bike pod transmits an empty cadence stream.

@isazi I got it, but me personally, I see no reason for bike pod, when I have power pod. For me the power is crucial. Secondly it is cadence. Speed is a nice to have info, so the speed from GPS is enough for me. When I am focusing on my workout, most important metrics is power and cadence, as I said.
Well, I have a bike pod, which I have on my MTB bike (cadence only) and I have powerpod on my TT bike. While powerpod can provide both, power and cadence, I see no reason to pair also bike pod together with power pod. However, as I said, that is my view only as I do not see speed as an important metric for my training…

@zadow I agree with you, but just pointing it out for general knowledge, so people know that if they pair both there is no cadence from power pod anymore.

I can add speed sensor or cadence, both of them work separately…but no chance to get them working together, does not matter what I am doing (speed as pod1, cadence on pod2 or vice versa)

I need to try this, indeed, I had separate cadence sensor on that bike

                          ah this is so lame:

Pair your Suunto Ambit3 Sport with Bluetooth® Smart compatible bike, foot and Power PODs to receive additional information during exercise. You can pair up to five PODs at a time:

three bike PODs, these can be speed, distance and/or cadence bike PODs, **but only one can be connected at a time**
                          one foot POD
                          one power POD

                          why???

that will not work…like figured today out…
Also Suunto AP3 supports just one bike pod and as such is really unneeded because if I add speed sensor, suddenly the cadence part from power/candence crank does not work anymore…and also adding more as one pod does not work , since you can not have more as 1 pod working (well you can add 3 pods…which is bs, since just one pod can communicate) damn…this is really bs
