s7 terminates telephone calls unintentionally
-
I have only had the watch for a few days. Now I have noticed that it is probably to blame for the fact that phone calls on my iPhone X keep ending/hanging up against my will. Does anyone else have the same problem and is there already an explanation/solution for it?
-
@citlenbik I have never had the S7 terminate a call. I doubt that this is an issue. I have an iPhone 13Pro.
-
@brad_olwin I can only report what I am experiencing. When I end the Bluetooth connection, the phone works perfectly …
Anybody else having a solution or the same experience?

@citlenbik
Maybe you watch is somehow paired as headphones ?
Just guessing -
@sartoric Could be - how would that work or how could I identify this?
-
My s7 still terminates calls when it is connected via bluetooth. Phone is an iPhone X which at the same time is connected to a Jabra Headset via bluetooth.
Any ideas?

@citlenbik
Well, maybe we don’t have one ? We’re moderators, not Suunto’s employee and not even oraclesDid you try to contact Suunto support ?
Did you try using different headphones ? -
Thank you and good for you you are not oracles - otherwise I would have thrown tons of additional questions from all walks of life. I honestly thought the forum is directly linked to the official support, isn’t it? Where is the sense of running it under the official domain without linking it?
Changing the headphones is not an option as these are the professional ones I am using at my office desk all day long. Work-around would be to put S7 in flight mode whilst in the office - which for sure is not how it was meant to be …

It is a community forum. Suunto is providing a place where users and users-to-become can share their experience and also help each other.
While there are Suunto employees reading and commening here, this still is no official support - it’s just a forum. And I like the spirit of it -
@citlenbik I use AirPods Pro the same way, connected to the phone and have the watch connected but do not have this issue. I wonder if the watch is attempting to connect to the headphones and the headphones then terminate the call.
Have you paired the headphones to the watch?
If so I would delete the pairing, if not pair them to the watch.
Try this and see what happens. -
Thank you for the clarification!

Thank you for this idea!
However, the watch is not paired to this headset (Jabra). So the impulse can hardly come from the headset. So far, I have only paired 2 devices to the S7 - the iPhone X and a private headset (JBL), which I use from time to time during sports. But the latter is not even in range, let alone active, when the phenomenon occurs.
I can’t imagine that an additional connection with the Jabra will solve the problem, but will be happy to try it out.

@citlenbik The watch may be trying to pair if the headphones are sending a signal.
