Mid-activity reboot / No Screen timeout on S7
-
@brad_olwin Thanks Brad

As the S7 has only basic interval function, how do you manage/record it on yours?
This is something I’d like to do more of. -
@olymay On my case I use Exercise Timer.
-
@olymay I use the lap button and use the Running Interval sport mode. I am one of those that can remember my intervals so I don’t necessarily need a pre-programmed watch to tell me what to do.
-
@brad_olwin I think I’d have to write it on the back of my hand and hope the sweat doesn’t wash it off

@flypg @olymay Suunto has discovered a bug with the S7 reboot during an exercise. I do not know what the timeline for a fix but they will investigate it.
-
@brad_olwin the power of the forum!
-
@isazi Yes and probably helps that I had the same bug and sent logs immediately.

@brad_olwin Today a new reboot in middle of an activity… two months passed from the last one. After restart all run well, the activity was saved but again the Gestures settings was changed: Power saver tilt is active and Touch to wake is disables (I use exactly the inverse).
Logs already sent to Suunto.
S7 start to looks more as an Garmin product…

PS- I take a second look and the activity was recorded but with errors/missing infos: Ascent field is duplicate and in zero. Descente in zero, but at the same time Highest point display 2m and Lowest point -1m. The Altitude graphic show of around 30m that is not in relation with the displayed information. Various other fields are not calculated, like TSS that is not displayed

PS2- I downloaded also the Watch Bug Report in case that be useful
