Cannot put Suunto 9 Peak into discovery mode

I’ve been wearing my Suunto 9 for a few months now, mainly using as a step counter and light exercise monitor. I’ve paired the watch with my phone and futzed with the app a bit. I have so much more to discover regarding this watch!
I’d like to use the watch as a HR monitor for my Wahoo Kickr within the Wahoo Systm app. These devices aren’t recognizing each other. Now, I can’t put the phone into “discovery” mode. It’s always grayed-out. The phone is not currently connected to my phone as I removed it from my Bluetooth devices to reset everything. Any thoughts? -
@badreed Unfortunately, S9P cannot broadcast its HR measurements. That’s something I’d love to have, it would allow me to get rid of an external HR monitor on my long bike rides and still have HR displayed on my bike computer (Karoo2).
