hi folks, beside my Suunto Observer from year 2004‘ now i own a Peak9. Some questions, due to the fact that i am a 57 year old snowbird an no computer nerd:

      • is there an function that stops track recording automatically after reaching the Start point (GPS coordinates can help)
      • is there an function to edit a track later? So that i can cut the last 17 kilometers sitting in my car on the way home from hiking?
This would be a comfortable feature for the several cases i forgot to finish my tour by pressing the stop button.

Sharing Peak 9 impression: great display, easy operation, comfortable small@flat size. But very pool HR sensor, far behind the accuracy of a Fitbit or Huawei with a third of the price…

Regards and thx in advance for your inputs…

@rudi-ratlos It’s not possible to auto-stop the activity. Auto-pause is available but that resumes the activity as soon as you start moving again so that is not an option.

For cutting off the last 17km, I would suggest you take a look at the following thread:

Especially in the list for items with the purpose “Tools”.

@rudi-ratlos for which activities the HR sensor is bad? I find it great. Do you wear the watch properly?
