Show current altitude without recording a session
-
Hi!
I was just wondering if it’s also possible to show the current Altitude without recording a specific session (e.g. hiking)?
Thanks in advance!

@ck-85 you need to install an app for that, there are some altimeters in the Play Store.

Want to know a funny thing…
When you start the SA, if you press the top button (or top half of watch face) so the map goes full screen…there’s a tiny number over at the left hand side. The font is so small I can only see it when I have reading glasses on.
The only time I have reading glasses on is when I’m running from home and set the app up before going out the door.
That number is the scale of the map radius, which defaults to 200metres.
…I happen to live at 200m above sea-level !!
It took me 3 months before I realised that that wasn’t the current height being displayed !!!
As an aside, I hope in a future firmware, that that map screen is worked on…it SHOULD include the height, in a number size that is readable, and the existing scale number should also be larger (or be temporarily larger for a few seconds after changing scale).

@ck-85 Please vote on the S7 Altimeter Tile

The Alti/Barometer app (via ADB) do a great job for the altimeter and barometer info with graphics, adding also a Tile for these.

Thank you guys for the update and suggestions.

If you want a tool to show altitude and barometric pressure with the option to use a complication on your watch face, then use
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wachete.wearaltimeter

I would love to see a tile for the Altimeter and Barometer much like the S9 Baro has, same graphics, same style available for the S7
