When I play anything through Spotify and try to use my Airpods, sound will stop working. The way to get it back is restarting the app or going to a new playlist to play something. This happens with and without the Spotify app installed on my Suunto 7.

      Wear Services version: 2.112.0

@mikes373 The Spotify app on WearOS is purely a remote control for the app on your phone and therefore all music playback is coming from the phone, not the watch.

As you mention this volume stopping occurs even when you do not have the app installed on the watch, there is no way that this issue could be caused by the watch.

I recommend checking the connection between your Airpods and phone, as well as any potential software or hardware conflicts.

Sorry I can’t be of any more help, but I do not believe the Suunto 7 is part of any issue here.

          Hello Olymay,

The only reason I disagree is this issue never arose until I bought the Suunto 7 and paired it with my Galaxy Note Ultra 5G. Even if the app is installed or not, the display on the watch still has the remote option, so it feels like some link to the watch interface is interferring with me being able to hear volume. I have a set of 2 Airpods, 1st and Second Gen. and it happens on both since I paired the watch so the point of failure is pointing towards the watch. Will submitting logs help?

Also when I move over listening to Spotify on my Mac on the same Airpods I begin hearing sound again. That removes the watch aspect and it works as expected.

@mikes373 It may be an issue with Spotify. I use WearCasts to listen to podcasts on the S7 and it works without issue.

@mikes373 Have you tried disabling Bluetooth on the watch to see if the problem is still present without the watch connected to the phone?

                  Hey Brad,

Can I import Podcasts from Spotify to Wear Cast? I also want to keep the watch paired to the phone and mostly the reason I bought the watch, to get notifications without checking my phone and use music in the same way.

Issue seems resolved after deleting Spotify from my Note 20, then removing the sync to the watch, reinstalling Spotify on the phone and syncing back to the Suunto 7. Beginning to love the watch now.
