      Hello,

      I don’t understand completely the Progress infos. I already read all the informations and compared on different days. But have this question:
      How to predict/estimate/plan Form(TSB) on Progress?

      Example: If I would like to keep into a Productive Training range, my Form(TSB) should move between -10 and -30. But I notice this just on the next day when the info about Form(TSB) is updated. On other hand, if I check on the activity that I did, I can see the value of the TSS(hr), but not how this later impact on the value of the Form(TSB).

      Exist a method to that based on TSS(hr) of an activity, I could estimate the Form(TSB) value to can plan the trainee day and to have a more predecible graphic keeping on my wanted range (losing, maintaining, productive & hard) on Progress?

      We can force the update of Form(TSB) value just after finishing an activity instead wait to the next morning?

      Perahps is something that I have on front but can’t see 🙂
      Thanks!

        @flypg form is equal to previous day fatigue minus previous day fitness. Considering that fatigue and fitness are averages of tss over 7 and 42 days respectively, you can predict form based on the exercises you do.

          @flypg well, as form is fitness - fatigue, which is updated on a subsequent day. You can just aim to get fatigue 10+ more than your fitness at a given day. If I recall correctly, fatigue is a 7day average of TSS/day. So if, say, tomorrow you wanna be in productive, you can use the following formula: (assume average is linear, which I’m not sure is the case)
          Given: today’s fitness = p1, today’s fatigue = ft1
          Want: tomorrow’s form < -a (like < -10 or so)
          Unknown: TSS you have to make on this day = x
          x = 7[(p1-ft1) - a)]
          Example:
          ft1=p1=40
          a = -10
          => x > 70 TSS on that day

          Would be cool to have in SA for planning btw!

            100%. It should be relatively easy to implement too, all you need is to be able to schedule/diarise future planned effort and away you go…

            Solid blue line here is my CTL to date, goes thin blue at that dashed vertical line which is ‘today’…and I have my full training scheduled through to October mapped out, with a sustained gradual ramp of load, and a taper at the end to come into ‘positive form’ for London marathon date…

            I’ve been on a marathon training block since end of first week in June, it feels reassuring when I look back every few weeks and see the load over time and my perceived fitness is increasing as and when expected…it gives me more confidence that I’m planning to do the right thing (especially as that fitness continues to go upwards!).

            (the odd little blip over the next week is because I’m doing a 50k Ultra in amongst)

              @nigel-taylor-0 looks great! Let’s see if the tighter integration with TP will bring something similar in the future.
