@surfboomerang Agreed
-
@surfboomerang
it would not only help surfers but also people that enjoy the jacuzzi -
@freeheeler Jacuzzi-ing is not a valid sport mode according to Suunto
So you don’t need to wear the watch at that time.But if you do wear it you encounter the same issue indeed.

@surfboomerang
jacuzzi-ing is the silent of mind passivity -
-
@surfboomerang you could combine vodka crawling with jacuzzi-ing

@gerasimos it was exactly why I change for the vertix, with my motorcycle gloves it always change screen and sometimes on long ride it can go to settings and make a trouble.
On the vertix i have to make 1 turn and half of the button or a long press and if i accidently maintain a pressure on the button it vibrate to let you know. -
@g287-sf for me (lock buttons) its a necessary function in sport watches.
you dont have silence mind …because at any time can be something accidentally change in menu, settings in daily use …btw i think its very simple and useful feature…why not?!
everything else works flawless !!

@surfboomerang
And that is why I would like the ability (on the S7 and would make sense on the Peak) to have the ability to quickly and easily lock the screen/and the buttons.
Currently in the S7 you have to go to settings - display - scroll down and select touch lock. Then you have to confirm it. Would be so much easier if right there in quick settings, and or we could select a button to do this, and or a long press of a button to select this function.And while i appreciate that when tracking a swimming activity it does this automatically, there are loads of other activities and other times when this is super practical i.e. in the shower, when going to sleep at night etc etc etc.
