So far the sleep tracking has been pretty good, though the last two days have thrown up some potential issues/thoughts about it.

      Resources:

      1. the heavy lifting on resources is all done on the watch, so before a restart, sync it so that you don’t lose any data (note this applies to steps and calories too).
      2. Resting HR seems to be key to this, so is important to get your correct resting HR. Seems to be a couple of methods to do this, but to me the best seems to be to run an internal activity (so no GPS) for 3-5mins while sitting somewhere, allowing your watch to track your resting HR. Note this will take a couple of days to confirm, and should be done when you first get up in the morning, especially before any activity. Track for a couple of days. As your fitness improves, so will your resting HR so should be done at periodic intervals and updated accordingly.
      1. If you arent well its going to kill your resources - sort of makes sense, however restarting your watch will reset your resources to 75%!!! What… Would prefer it took from where it was, and go you an option to reset if required, rather than a restart of the watch impacting it.

      Sleep:
Believe this is firstbeat, which if this is the case your actual sleep analysis is completely based off HR, thus when you are sick (like I have been thanks to the Govt infecting me with Covid) it can abosultely knacker the results. My current HR is running approx 10-15bpm higher than normal at the moment, and last night was 15-20bpm higher than usual. This of course impacts the analysis. So due to this it didn’t record 40mins of sleep, and it didn’t record any deep sleep (and I know I slept well as CPAP machine recorded the extra 40, only had 2APNEA per Hour, and no leakage, and despite still feeling achy and unwell I donot feel overly fatigued as I would if there had been no deep sleep.
The deep sleep is important for resources and from what I can make out resources are only gained based on your deep sleep, none are gained based on light/rem sleep. I can understand light sleep, though you should still get some, but to give none on rem doesn’t make sense.
