Suunto's new digital services for the Ambit 2 are unbearable!
-
Suunto’s new digital services and Movescount Transition is the last straw! What is the point of this cumbersome construct? Instead of just connecting the watch to the notebook and that’s it, you now have to connect a crappy smartphone and log in twice and three times somewhere. Somehow all the data is stolen from some shitty cloud, and everything has disappeared in Movescount.
Where the hell can I see my heart rate data now? This stupid Suuto app doesn’t have this data for the Ambit 2.
I’d like to know what Suunto was thinking. All just to steal all the customer data and keep the stupid customer under control?
Even if no one here wants to hear it, I’m calling for offline stand-alone software, because this cumbersome online mess is unbearable. -
@suolaf
new digital service transition? like the new corona virus?
I understand your frustration and I was at a similar point in my Suunto life… but if you have the chance, take the opportunity, look for a nice watch that suits you and take the step forward. I did it and I do not regret it at all -
Ok. There’s nothing to discuss here so I’m closing this thread.
If you need to communicate your concerns to Suunto, please contact Suunto support.
If you want more info about the transition, you can find several discussions with a quick forum search. -
