      Is this just me or is this a bug / poor behaviour?

      At each km I get a haptic notification, I glance at screen and the notification screen has started to be built, but not all the data is available, it seems to take ‘a few seconds’ ??

      And it seems that arm raise whilst I’m watching the notification appear doesn’t get tagged as recognition that I’ve SEEN the notification…if I drop my arm I can see the notification disappear, but I raise my arm again within the next 30secs or minute or whatever, and the notification appears again (but more quickly this time)…so I have to wait for it to disappear again before I can see my realtime stats?

      The watch is normally quite snappy, so it seems like something that could be fixed in software - don’t start trying to display a notification until all the data for that notification is available to immediately display?? (I assume there’s some calculation or aggregation that happens at each lap point).

        The lap summary screen seems really desperate to be seen. Once I reach a lap, I usually have to wait about 30 - 45 seconds before I can raise my hand to see my real time stats. Doesn’t seem to matter how many times I raise and lower the watch. It just keeps coming back for the first 30 - 45 seconds.

          Never really noticed an issue. When I get the buzz I look at the screen, then drop my arm. The not disappear straight away makes sense, as sometimes want another quick look so that makes sense.
          But if I then leave it for around 5-10s it will not then come back up with it again - but must have already looked at it at least once bringing arm up to chest level and canted inwards.
          Perhaps its the degree to which you lift your arm and cant your wrist.

            Are you saying you feel the buzz, look at the watch and the screen with all the data is displayed??
            For me…I get the buzz, look at the screen and it’s started redrawing the layout, and then a bit of data drops in, and a second or so later another bit of data and eventually it all slots into place, but I’ve had to stare at the screen for maybe 5 seconds before it’s all there…

            All that ancillary persistence with re appearing lap alerts (and unecessary extra notifications of waypoints) is just annoyance, but the “delayed display” feels like a bug to me.

              @nigel-taylor-0 strange.
              When I’m running and get the lap buzz - all data of the lap screen is there instantly.

                @nigel-taylor-0 all there instantly. I am not running any routing (haven’t checked it recently with that), also may be a second or two before I raise and check my wrist.

                Delay - only one I have noticed is that if you switch across to the breadcrumb map screen and its a been a while since you last checked the map it may take a couple of seconds to update.

                A couple of seconds to update makes sense. Remember the watch is in low power coprocessor mode, so when lap update or maps come up it is waking up main processor and loading that data. Would rather have the longer battery life and a couple of seconds wait to see a screen redraw.

                  @nigel-taylor-0 you can skip this screen pushing the middle button at any time.

                    Wonder why this never occurred to me.
