The travails of a heel-dragger
-
So I knew that in Feb, Movescount would no longer be supported. What I didn’t know (or forgot since my mind is somewhat distracted right now), is that transferring all non watch retained data to SA from Movescount would not be feasible.
I recorded my bodyweight workouts manually on Movescount, rather than use my watch since dips and pressups strain the strap and record nothing useful. This manually recorded data doesn’t seem to be transferable… can anyone suggest a way of doing this please?
Thanks in advance.

@auld06
such data in MC are stored like a workout / activity ?have you done the MC to SA transition (connecting your MC account in the SuuntoApp itself to request the transition) ? if yes, didn’t it transitionned these workouts in SA ?
-
@mff73 What I will tell you will make your eyes roll and you may want to stop helping.
Last year, I think in November, I made the transition, then realised I didn’t like the new interface and went back to MC thinking that I would just use it till it stops working.

@auld06
and with the already made transition, did your manual body activities synced to SuuntoApp ? the ones present in MC before the transition sync -
@mff73 In November yes, now, no
-
@auld06
clear and logic, sync is normally one shot.
open a support chat message in the Suunto and explain your case to support, they should have procedure to trigger a new sync again. -
@mff73 will do, thank you!
-
and when i say “Sync” speaking about MC to SA, i misexplained : it is not really a “sync”, but a one-shot transfer = transition = forget MC

give us some news, to check if this advice is still OK -
@mff73 Got it, thanks. If I’m provided a solution, I’ll post it here. Cheers.
