      Hello everyone!

      If I go to Settings > System > About and press over “Model / Suunto 7” I get the MAC address, but this is from WiFi?
      The WiFi service create a random MAC to connect to WiFi like on mobile?
      My S7 works well, but I have some difficulty when I try to connect to some WiFi spot that need MAC address validation.

      Thanks!
      Cheers,

        @flypg yes afaik the Mac address of the watch is that. It can be that the mac address is “randomized” so that makes it hard I think

          @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Thank you! 👍
          Yes, the behavior is strange. The MAC that I found on “Model /Suunto 7” looks that is fixed, but not always the S7 use this MAC to connect to the WiFi spot 😖

            @flypg connect to a wifi. Go to your settings , then connectivity , then wifi , then click on the wifi to which you are connected. You will get all details including mac address there.

            That should do it … But I am not sure when it changes…

              @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Thanks again! 👍
              Yes, but the problem is that information is only displayed when you are “connected”. Before this, you only get the button to “forget” this network.

              Also, I correct myself, because doing these test I see that the other MAC address is also fixed, is not the same that the MAC address that found on “Model / Suunto 7” but looks that is always the same until now. This is good because I can add boths MAC and done 🙂

              Thanks!

                @flypg Maybe the MAC you see on the watch is from BT? Can you check with some iOS/Android BT tool? I have no S7 so I cannot verify.

                  @johann-fuehrer I checked and you are right, is the BT MAC, mystery solved 🙂
                  Strange that have this there instead the WiFi MAC 🤔
                  Thanks!
