Suunto 3 Fitness - Battery Issue

hi all,
I hope I did not mix up the thread…
by the way, my wife used the S3 Fitness and the battery performance is just not acceptable. Even without usage, it will run out the battery in a few days. In the menu, I can’t find any option for energy saving (I am using Spartan Trainer HR which has that option). Is there any plan to update the software to include energy saving?also, I thought the charger cable for Spartan trainer and S3 Fitness is the same, but unfortunately it is not. If I am using the cable for Spartan to charge S3 fitness, it will beep every 10 seconds or so and it seems that it does not charge properly. Is it correct that the cables are not the same? if they are the same, why I can’t use spartan’s cable properly on S3 fitness?
thank youuu

@Catoer-Wibowo hi I had a similar problem the other day with the battery on my S5. It would drain more than 25% during the day when it’s usually only around 9%. I looked it up and discovered the battery need recalibrating. Not sure if it will work for you but worth giving it a go. There are two options a soft or hard reset. I did the soft reset and it solved my issue as the watch is fine again. My wife has a SF3 and the soft reset is the same. Sorry I don’t have the links but I think the guidance how to do it is in the manuals that are available online. Hope it helps.

@reesmt78 thank you for the info. Right now the watch is broken and had to be sent for repair. But it will take around 3 months to repair. I wonder why the Indonesian distributor does not keep any spare S3 module in hand. Hopefully after changing the watch module, the battery issue will be solved. thank you
