Ambit 3 vs Garmin Edge 530

Hello all,
Today, just to make a quick experiment I took both my ambit 3 peak sapphire and my garmin edge 530 on a walk.
Ambit 3 Peak (Best gps setting) 6km:https://www.strava.com/activities/4305949134
Garmin Edge (GPS Only): 4.56km
https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/5790046406Any reason for such a big difference? And which device is most accurate? How can I find out?

Short of A) doing the exact walk again with an accurately-calibrated pedometer or one of those wheely measuring things, you could B) recreate your walk as a route on any number of mapping sites, including Movescount. There’s not enough elevation change there to make much difference to the flat distance … which is 6.04km, give or take.
If you don’t feel MC is correct, try another site (or 6) and take an average. If you don’t believe that, back to (A).
