Bluetooth sync Movescount / Ambit3 (Android)
-
Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere (my basic search didn’t reveal anything in the first few pages of hits).
I installed the Suunto app, did the MC sync, then discovered the bad stuff (no web based interface being the worst for me personally). I then read here that MC will continue till next year so I went back and have updated everything on MC.
The problem is, I can’t now bluetooth sync with MC. My phone says “Not connected. Move closer to your watch [it is almost touching my watch] If no connection persists, ensure MobileApp sync setting in the watch is on”
Any advice greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

@Auld06
Did you already pair with SA ?
If you did it, you need to unpair the watch too pair it again with MC -
Thanks for this reply. Yes I did. How should I unpair from Suunto app?
-
@Auld06 in your watch go to options - pair - mobileapp and unpair. Then try pairing with movescount app.
-
@Prenj Oh, I guess I didn’t pair it to SA by this means at all. Anyway, I just hit unpair and I’m trying to pair it to MC but my watch isn’t seeing anything (I confirm my phone’s bluetooth is switched on)…

@Auld06
Which phone do you have?
Try to forget the watch from phone Bluetooth list -
@sartoric Samsung Galaxy S6. I just forgot the Ambit as a bluetooth connection, then tried to find it again and it’s not appearing, even when I ask Mobileapp to search on the watch.
