9 month old bug. This used to work for coordinates and cities. Now…nothing

It makes browsers to complain about Cross-Origin Resource Sharing, once this is addressed, Mapquest service responds with:
The AppKey submitted with this request is invalid.

In others words, not much end users can do about it.
