Workout / Interval creation alternative to Movescount?
-
Movescount used to enable the creation of customized interval-based workout routines on watches like the Suunto Ambit 3 Peak -and certainly other models-. The transition towards Suunto app renders this option unavailable -or at least it is not an easily accessible feature-. Are there any plans to incorporate this programming feature to the Suunto app platform?
Thanks!

@franciscoaura A search would probably reveal the answer. But, this is a feature that will be lost.

I’m exactly looking for the same…as I was able to plan my workouts using movescount…and now this feature has been disabled in the Suunto App !

Yup.

On S9/S9P you can do intervals on the watch (don’t know about other models.) -

@andrasveres /irony mode on
Why would you like to do so? Suunto doesn’t want to you use the watch for that, even if it was capable of that before.
/irony mode offFor me that’s also inexplicable… and if this comes as a third party connection I will not be more pleased than before. Why would you need a third party to do such trivial things…? I don’t want to 3rd-partify myself.

András, how you can set up distance or time based intervals in the Ambits now? You mean beside the Movescout in the Suunto App? or directly on the watch?
thanks

You are supposed to use Movescount web for every change that should be pushed towards your Ambit, that includes interval timer settings.

@margusl Thanks!

@gábor-tóth as @margusl already answered you, it has to be set on Movescount. The only thing you can do on the watch is to disable/enable for a particular activity.

@jsuarez I totally get what are you saying, but I’m afraid we can’t do much about it.
Oh and there is no reason to beat a dead horse.
